This rare set of 6 mouth-blown, handcrafted tall tumblers from the Pitagora series, designed by Marco Zanuso for Arnolfo Di Cambio in 1969, is an iconic example of Italian glassware design. The glasses feature a unique geometric profile — a triangular base and a cylindrical bowl that tapers slightly at the top, creating a striking contrast. Part of Arnolfo Di Cambio's prestigious Clearline collection, this is a collectible piece of mid-century modern glassware.
Marco Zanuso: "The triangular outline of the foot emphasises the refraction effect by binding perfectly to the circular glass parison: a brave design that presented several technical challenges."
