A few years ago, we were sitting in a Turkish café in Kreuzberg, Berlin, having a coffee.
"What's the thing that relaxes you the most lately?"
"Looking for hidden treasures."
"What kind of treasures?"
"Small things, invisible to other people's eyes — but not to mine. At flea markets and in old cellars."
After a life spent telling stories around the world as a journalist, I felt the need to slow down and focus on things that are quieter, smaller, and precious.
Johannes is a video producer: he knows how to bring order to my chaotic mind.
