A Danish salt and pepper mill set, designed by Richard Nissen for Bodum, Denmark, in the 1970s. Both pieces are hand-turned from beechwood, a minimalist cylindrical form lifted by contrasting black metal handles.
The clear, functional shape is Scandinavian modern kitchenware at its best. Both are marked 'Nissen Denmark'.
