A true icon of Italian design: the Tizio lamp, conceived by Richard Sapper for Artemide in 1972. Its counterbalanced arms pivot and rotate at a fingertip, holding the light exactly where you want it, engineering turned into sculpture.
This is the black version, complete with its original detachable base, so it works as both a floor and a table lamp.
